· Toluwani Special Needs Center (TSNC) is one of the service arms of JAPHETH Ministries, Nigeria Inc (RC14506). The Center commenced Operations on June 30th 2008. in Abeokuta, Ogun State , Nigeria. God's faithfullness has lead to the opening of a second facility in Ilesa , Osun State , Nigeria. The Ilesa facility, which is now the Headquarter Centre, commenced operations on Spetmeber 14 2020. Mission of TSNC
· To provide an excellent environment of love, care and learning for individuals with severe and multiple disabilities
· To help individuals with special needs to discover and operate at their highest potentials in life .
· To advocate for the recognition of individuals with special needs as valuable members of the society .
· To provide Christian counseling and ministrations to individuals with special needs and their loved ones.
Programs Offered at TSNC
12 month home care service program :
· Under this residential program, children live permanently at the center, except for December when the children are expected to spend at least one week with their families.
10 month hostel care service program:
· Individuals admitted under this residential program are mandated to go on all 3 major vacations observed by the Center namely: Christmas, Easter and Long Vacation
10 month day learning program:
· Individuals under this program are those with intellectual and severe learning disabilities. Each individual will be provided with individualized education program (IEP) as determined by the Center’s evaluation team in consultation with parents/guardian.
10 or 12 months day care program:
· Individuals admitted under this program are non-educable, non-trainable and totally dependent who are not enrolled in the residential program. Those enrolled in the 10 months day care program children will go on long vacation with their day learning counterparts.
After-school learning program:
· This is a learning reinforcement/remediation program. Parents of children with mild learning disabilities can enroll their children at a fee for specialized instruction by our special education instructors after regular day program hours at the Center premises
Home-based after school program:
· This is also a learning reinforcement/remediation program. Parents of children with mild learning disabilities can enroll their children at a fee for specialized instruction by our special education instructors after regular center program hours at the individual’s home.

Periods of Operation
· The center is open all year round. The Center operates three Learning Periods or Terms
Learning Periods
· First Learning Period (First Term): Mid September – December ending
· Second Learning period (Second Term): January – March/early April
· Third Learning Period (Third Term) - Mid April – July ending
Vacation Periods
· Christmas Vacation: 3 weeks (December)
· Easter Vacation: 2 weeks (March/April)
· Long Vacation: 7 weeks (August/September)
· Parents or Guardians are required to pay a certain amount of the highly subsidized fees per term.
· Due to the expensive nature of services provided by the TSNC, the Center relies heavily on donations from both private and public sources.
· The center also welcomes volunteer workers willing to donate their time and expertise in designated service areas
