THE PRIME MINISTER OF JAPHETH


The overall spiritual head of the ministry is our Lord Jesus Christ who is the President of JAPHETH. The Chief Servant or Prime Minister  of 
JAPHETH is Rev(Prof) Adebayo B Aromolaran.  

Rev. Aromolaran surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, in 1989 and was called to be a Missionary Teacher in 1990. He enrolled for a year of bible training at the YESHUA Bible School, Samonda, Ibadan between 1991 and 1992 and joined the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) in March 1993. He was appointed Pastor of the Deeper Life Campus Fellowship, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Chapter in November 1994. Between November, 1995 and June, 1998, he served as the Ogun State Coordinator of the Deeper Life Campus Fellowship overseeing over 10 Tertiary institution campuses across Ogun State, Nigeria. He also pastored the Obatoko District Church of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Abeokuta, Nigeria between 1996 and 1998.  Rev. Aromolaran left the DLCM to establish JAPHETH Ministries in 1998.  Between September 2004 and May 2005, Rev Aromolaran attended the Overseas Ministries Study Center, New Haven, Connecticut, USA, and obtained a Certificate in Missions Studies. He was Senior Pastor of Jesus Army Believers Assembly, Abeokuta, Nigeria between 2007 and 2010. He is Founder and Senior Pastor of Fountain of Living Waters Chapel, Abeokuta, Nigeria.  He is also the Founder and Executive Director of Toluwani Special Needs Center, Abeokuta, Nigeria.

Adebayo B Aromolaran, Prime Minister, JAPHETH Ministries.

Prof. Aromolaran  holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (1993) and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Visiting Research Fellow at the Economic Growth Center, Yale University, USA between 2001 and 2005. He has taught in many universities both in Nigeria and the USA. He has also served as resource consultant to many local and international organizations on issues relating to food policy, and agricultural and economic growth and development .

Adebayo Aromolaran became the first African to win the prestigious IAAE "Umalele Award for Best Contributed Paper on Gender Issues" at the 27th Triennial Conference of the International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) held in Beijing, China, August 2009.

He was Professor and Head of Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, until his voluntary retirement from active academic work in 2010.  He currently works as a missionary in the United States of America and is the oversees the activities of the JAPHETH Ministries both in Nigeria and USA.


He is married to Simisola A Aromolaran and are both blessed with children.
